In a fun, large show last week on "Fabulous Fashion with Angie Mornington", Angie interviewed the colourful and exciting RL designer Nyla Cheeky of The House of Nyla and Daphne showed us stylish ways to keep warm. This week Angie will be interviewing the wonderful Miko Omegamu from Icing, whilst Daphne will look at holiday specials and accessories.

Gwill Brickworks - US Marine Corps Vet
Put out of the Marine Corps on disability, Gwill foud SL and realised the potential to work with other Veterans. He now manages the Military Veterans Centre which is a support group, an information distribution point & provides recreation through events. By creating a group that is run for veterans by veterans they are all able to offer each other a sympathetic ear having shared similar experiences that would not be available in other place.

Episode 34 - Crown of CreatioN! The Holiday Broadcast

Yes this is the time of the year when we wrap presents and present gifts, but truly that which we give of ourselves, if the gift indeed. "You give but little when you give of your possessions. It is when you give of yourself that you truly give." -Kahlil Gibran
This quote graced us as the last one of 2008. Felt that was fitting for us all, from all of us at SLCN.tv we truly give from our hearts.
Kat & Emmo were amazing as always, and the giant 2nd QuestioN! blimp was flown in and around the room. Please stop by the StudioDome and get your free one from the goody box. In fact loads of fun stuff in there. Always our gift from us to you. It was a great show, and certainly the panel reflected the Crown of Creation that SL can be. All avatars who have used the medium in ways farther and more profound than most.
We just had so much fun doing this show!
-Draxtor Despres was wonderful and had so much to say about everything that has been going on in his extraordinary life including his recent return from Paris where he was at the human rights achievement awards. Huge Bravo to Drax! Also he is reporting for Public television in SeconLife, something we were privy to hearing. As well as his & Hydras Budderbeans! Drax wanted a headset pagents- cool & unusual pageant of headset gear- well that's Drax. I think he would win that prize if the contest was held today!
-Eshi Otawara looked incredible, as usual and what a fantastic sight to behold in one of her own creations, she is Secondlife's Hautest Couture by far, and fresh from her triumph on BSOL this past weekend where she showed her incredible collection to a sold out crowd of fashion worshipers. Hail Eshi! Queen of couture!
-Salamanca Congrejo does much for us, for NASA and even for the blind. In a brilliant new program, blind and the hard of seeing population are being introduced to Secondlife. It is a fascinating project which will certainly mean more perception for the entire population because what we find with adding to sensory perception indeed has greater consequences for all. This is truly a gift to be giving, and Sal, was also on top form throughout the night. From the great state of Texas, her rich voice resonated throughout the evening. Especially in Avataro, and the 2nd Vote - Quotential
-Edwound Wisent, was fantastic in his glowing tam, book and sidekick jack rabbit. He is a complete original and kept the panel in stitches and guessing especially about Uncle Nes Nes. Did you know he was a Monkee and has the biggest collection of music videos? The audience was almost stumped with that one- and that has never happened before- you know we have the best audience in the metaworld.
Audience did guess faster in Avataro, did you know that Elvis had a monkey named Scatter who drank Bourbon? Did he drink eggnog during the Holidays? Hmmmmmmm.
We all felt the warmth of the Holidays approaching and reached out to spread the joy of season. AND for the very first time someone guessed the secret word! Yes!! Roger Amdahl did! He has also inspired the StudioDome's newest addition- the Ollibollenbox which will appear when the show returns January 6th from SLCN hiatus.
-Next week no show in the traditional broadcast sense- but please bring your holiday self, any musical instrument you like and we will all share some fun. and questions, and answers and love.

I am pleased to announce that Second Life residents donated more than $900,000L during this year's Toys for Tots Benefit Music Festival. This year the donations will be going to the kids of that great music city, New Orleans. Thanks go out to all the great artists and musicians who helped make this event so successful and entertaining. I also want to thank Daiseze Dahlstrom and Matelisse Criss for putting this thing together. They definitely have a future as Cat Herders! You are all showing how Second Life is making the world a better place, one friendship at a time. Thank you.

Today I am welcoming my dear friend and Music Academy Online's Director of Online Content, Eve McPherson. Eve is an ethnomusicologist who is finishing up her dissertation. Part of her field work included a Fulbright Scholarship sponsored year in Turkey where she studied the "Beautiful Voice" and the call to prayer.
