OnLIVE with Composer Greg D'Alessio
Join us today at 4pm when I will be talking with one of the finest composers I know. Greg D'Alessio is an award-winning composer who incorporates electronics in a way that is truly fresh. His music is incredibly entertaining and the attention to detail is awe-inspiring. Greg is also one of the great music educators that I have had the privilege to study with.
OnLIVE With Composer Tip Corbett
Howdy!
It is good to be back from an extended travel through lands beyond. The only lag I experienced was at O'Hare. Fortunately, they had the asset servers up and running in no time. So I am none the worse for wear.
OnLIVE with Max Chatnoir and Zdiva Sorbet
Max Chatnoir has created incredible music using the structures of amino acids as a starting point. Her work is very much akin to the kind of serialism that Arnold Schoenberg developed during the last century. She is a fascinating person and a wonderful advocate for the educational uses of Second Life. Visit her sim, Genome Island and you can see that she is doing great work!
Composers in Second Life
Second Life is a remarkable place and it is exciting watching it become an increasingly popular place. It has been particularly exciting to meet more and more serious artists bringing their work into Second Life.
OnLIVE with Richard Grayson...No. This is not Bruce Wayne's youthful ward.
Today's guest on "Music Academy OnLIVE" is composer & pianist, Richard Grayson.
OnLIVE With Composer/Author/Computer Scientist David Cope

This week with Amin Bhatia.
This week's guest is award winning composer Amin Bhatia.
Amin had a unique beginning to his career. In his early 20's he entered and won (2 years in a row, actually) a composition contest sponsored by synthesizer manufacturer, Roland. This led to his work as a synthesizer programmer on Michael Jackson's "Thriller" and as the technician for Toto's, Steve Porcaro.
This week with Dizzy Banjo.
The best thing about my job is meeting people. Today I had the opportunity to sit down with next week's "Music Academy OnLIVE's" guest, composer Dizzy Banjo. Dizzy is a genuinely personable guy, 'affable,' I think the Big Cheese Wiz Nordberg might say.
