OnLIVE with Handel's Messiah

'Tis the season when we start hearing that tried and true Christmas workhorse, Handel's oratorio, Messiah. In fact, this piece was not intended as a Christmas work at all and was premiered in the spring.

Join us today at 4pm SLT when we will be discussing Handel and this magnificent Baroque oratorio with scholar Juniper Eames (RL: Professor Judith A. Eckelmeyer).

OnLIVE with Eve McPherson

I am pleased to announce that Second Life residents donated more than $900,000L during this year's Toys for Tots Benefit Music Festival. This year the donations will be going to the kids of that great music city, New Orleans. Thanks go out to all the great artists and musicians who helped make this event so successful and entertaining.

OnLIVE with Cylindrian Rutabaga

Hi Friends!!!

First of all I want to congratulate SL residents for helping us to raise a whopping $370,000 during our first weekend of this year's Toys for Tots Benefit Music Festival. This gives us a great start on our Festival goal of 1 Million Linden.

OnLIVE with Gloria Kaye

Hi Friends!

Today I am excited to welcome to our show singer Gloria Kaye. Gloria has just released an album of Ukrainian Christmas music. The making of the album has a very special story behind. I hope you can join us at 4pm to hear a wonderful, very Christmassy tale of people helping a little girl realize her dreams.

You can find Gloria's CD at www.gloriakaye.com.

OnLIVE with TRAX and UKD Project

Hi Everybody!

Join us at 4pm SLT on our sim, Utwig, or right here on SLCN.tv.

They are a fantastic band that just celebrated their first anniversary. The UKD Project are beginning to entertain and grow their audience in Second Life. We have them on our show performing 2 songs including one from their newest CD.

OnLIVE with pianist Petronel Malan

Today's guest is South African Grammy nominated pianist Petronel Malan. She is engaging and funny and a great story teller. She is with us today to talk about, among other things, her new album Transfigured Beethoven.

Join us at 4pm on Utwig or right here on www.slcn.tv.

Happy Halloween with UKD Project and dorabella Triellis!

Today is our Halloween episode and we are going to kick off the show with a performance by a fabulous band that is relatively new to SL. UKD Project calls Italy home but they are quickly exciting audiences of SL with their incredible original music, music that shows a diversity of infuences, and fun stage presence. They will be singing a new song "Bring Me In Second Life."

OnLIVE with Composer Greg D'Alessio

Join us today at 4pm when I will be talking with one of the finest composers I know. Greg D'Alessio is an award-winning composer who incorporates electronics in a way that is truly fresh. His music is incredibly entertaining and the attention to detail is awe-inspiring. Greg is also one of the great music educators that I have had the privilege to study with.

OnLIVE With Composer Tip Corbett

Howdy!

It is good to be back from an extended travel through lands beyond. The only lag I experienced was at O'Hare. Fortunately, they had the asset servers up and running in no time. So I am none the worse for wear.

OnLIVE with Max Chatnoir and Zdiva Sorbet

Max Chatnoir has created incredible music using the structures of amino acids as a starting point. Her work is very much akin to the kind of serialism that Arnold Schoenberg developed during the last century. She is a fascinating person and a wonderful advocate for the educational uses of Second Life. Visit her sim, Genome Island and you can see that she is doing great work!
